Training

AMEN Academy is proud to say that we offer a unique course of training. This training will provide
an individual with the knowledge to become a successful counselor. It is a course like no other and
falls in a class of its own.

This certificate course is an excellent preparation for the individual that considers becoming a
counselor, but does not exclude the student that seeks knowledge and that wants to use this know-
ledge effectively in another field of work.

The certificate (1st year) is in preparation for the Diploma, an additional 2 years.

All training is given by individuals, experienced in the nature and content of the specific subjects
presented. These speakers all have a great testimony of salvation, but also serve God with a great
passion and committed their lives to Jesus Christ.

The training includes life changing subjects and knowledge. This course is highly recommended to
any individual that seeks knowledge and guidance to become a counselor or simply to have the know-
ledge to help others. The student gets the advantage of broadening his or her knowledge on subjects
like: Effective spiritual warfare, effective prayer, fields of the occult, drug abuse, Spiritual counseling
and after-care and many more….

This course will not only change your life, your way of thinking but it will help you to develop an
everlasting, strong and amazing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our studies consist out of three different stages, each stage presented over a period of 12 Months.

First year:

The first year studies are conducted over five weekends during the year. Five levels will be presen-
ted to students, covering a broad spectrum of subjects (see syllabus).

The weekends will be facilitated at "Die Bergvesting", in the Hartebeespoort area, a beautiful
camping ground surrounded by nothing but mountains and all of nature's best. Students will camp in
tents (your own tent, if you don't have one, a tent can be hired), and for the lady's not comfortable
with camping, a room will be made available.

Second Year:

The second year studies are presented on Wednesday nights at 19H00 in Krugersdorp. A deeper
study is done on the bible and many other subjects (see syllabus). Students will discuss and debate
the subjects presented, learning more in the process.
No classes are given during school holidays.

Third Year:

The third year studies are presented on Tuesday nights at 19H00 in Krugersdorp. In the third year
we take a closer look at various psychological case studies, the evaluation, handling and solving of

* Please note that all training is given in Afrikaans, but all English speaking students are welcome.
All assignments can be done in English or Afrikaans.
